These armchairs are currently in the workshop being restored, French polished and re-upholstered. These art deco club chairs are in their original condition. They are period 1920s to 1930s art deco club chairs, they are not reproduction or 'in the style of', these are the real thing! |

As you can see in the photos the upholstery is in a very worn and stained condition with some tears and holes, these chairs would need re-covering and re-upholstery. The beautifully steam bent curved arms on these armchairs are each made from solid walnut, they do have a slight wobble but the joints are good which is an indication that the original glue has just dried out over the years. And with absolutely no woodworm (past or present) in any of the woodwork at all.
